Why, Oh why?
I have asked myself this question a million times and I've yet to come up with an answer. I think the closest thing to explaining my passion for pens is that I love calligraphy and admire neat handwriting. If its the tool that makes the workman do his job right, then my liking for pens is on definitely point.
Nowadays, penmanship seems to have lost its value and legibility with the advent of computers and the widespread use of tablets and fonts that mimic a proper fist.
I too have a 'proper fist' as most people usually admire my handwriting - when I settle down to do it of course. My years of Uni studies and the nature of my job calls for a lot of writing at a very fast pace so this has 'watered down' my penmanship over time.

Nonetheless, I still find handwriting to be soothing and will quickly fill a page with non-sense written neatly - especially when I'm down, angry, bored or upbeat!
Wool is to lamb as pen is to paper. Anyone who appreciates neat handwriting has to appreciate a nice piece of paper to write on. Whether its a flyer, a booklet, pamphlet or book. Personally, I prefer coloured felt tipped fineliner or fountain pens on a bit of semi-gloss white paper.
